Wk 6...F = Fierce Pencil Colouring Challenge with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour pencils

Hello everyone, welcome back to a new challenge today! The weeks are flying by here, our 6th challenge already, wow!
Remember that you can see lots of shows on Hochanda  TV showcasing Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour pencils so make sure you watch out for them in the schedules....

So this week we are on F = FIERCE...
and by Fierce we mean fiercely good colour combinations!

This can be interpreted as you wish but we want to see some lovely colour combos from everyone - show us your favourites!
You can enter the challenge with ANY project you like as long as you
coloured it with ANY medium  (pencils, markers, inks, paints, whatever you like).
Remember you can only enter twice!
CLOSING DATE: SAT 20 NOV AT NOON GMT - WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THE FOLLOWING POST....

This week we are very kindly joined by one of our favourite sponsors, the wonderful
Nikki has some amazing art to colour so make sure you pop over and snoop in the Store!

Prize 1: You can win 3 lovely digis from the Nikki Burnette store,  - we will choose a winner via Random.org
Prize 2: We also have some Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour pencils to give away - to win this you need to be in the UK so please add UK next to your name in your entry - if you're in the UK and don't add it after your name we won't count you in the draw and you could miss out.  Again we will choose a winner via Random.org

Just one last bit of news to share today - we are very delighted to welcome a brand new member to the team to share her awesome colouring with you, so welcome to Jane Savage!....

Jane – Hello, just sneaking in as the newest (and definitely most excited) member of the awesome Pencil Case team!! So proud, astonished and extremely grateful to be here!! Ok so my FUNKY make features the gorgeous PRISCILLA and my take on our theme seems to have taken a rainbow turn!!  These pencils have such an incredible range of colours (I am proud to be the possessor of the 72 piece tin) that it seemed rude not to use as many of the shades as possible!! xxx

Colours used (there’s lots so you’d better make a cuppa!):
Skin: 92, 89, 31 - Hair: 59, 63, 7 – Moon: 82, 83, 27, 9

Scatty Jan I had lots of fun with funky colours this week - I got to colour up the lovely Aurella , you can find her in the store here . She really is stunning . It was nice to colour with colours I do not normally pick....
Colours I used
Skin - Light Flesh/Dark Flesh, Purple/ Indian Red
Hair - Van D Brown/Raw Umber/ Brown Ochre
Blues Aquamarine/ Night Green / Peacock Blue
Oranges - Light Orange/ Dark Orange/ Orange Yellow
Greens - Light Green/ Sap Green/ Moss Green
Yellow -  Ochre/Light Ochre

Nikky...I chose this PRISCILLA image which is quite Halloweeny but I wanted to colour her up in a non Halloween way which was a little tricky, but this is one of my favourite colour combo's of all time, I just love the retro feel of these colours. Sorry but I didnt get chance to make up a card...
Colours used: Turquoise, Veridian (dress)
Skin: Brown Ochre, light skin, sepia
Greys & Black for stonework etc
Reds = Vermillion
Blues = Peacock
Window = Gold Ochre, Canary yellow, Vermillion, White pencil

Cara I chose the image Without Wings and decided to go completely out there with a fierce colour clashing combination!! I made the skin quite dark otherwise she would have been completely washed out by the bold colours!

Colours used:
Blue: 47,48,51
Orange: 76,21,17,15
Yellow: 87,13,9,8
Hair: 80,82,83

Lou: I chose the image Esmeralda for this challenge and in attempt to try something new with a background, (which subsequently didn't work out), had to go back to the drawing board. I have chose 70's inspired clashing colours for my image.

Skin: gold ochre, brown ochre, venetian red and prussian blue
Hair: light orange, dark orange, prussian blue and dark sepia
